LONG THOMPSON TO ANNOUNCE EDUCATION INITIATIVES
Democratic candidate will stop in four cities
INDIANAPOLIS -- Jill Long Thompson, Democratic nominee for Governor, will announce her plan to reform education in Indiana, holding news conferences across the state TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 3, 2008 and Thursday, September 4, 2008.
The announcement is another in a series of policy proposals that Long Thompson is unveiling as a part of her "One Indiana Plan" to rebuild Indiana's economy.
Long Thompson's running mate, State Representative Dennie Oxley, will also be visiting communities around the state. His public schedule will be released later today.
This schedule is subject to change. All times are local.

10:00 a.m. Jill will hold a press conference in room 156 A at the Indiana Statehouse to announce her plan to reform education in Indiana.
1:00 p.m. Jill will travel to New Albany to hold a news conference to discuss her education initiative at the UniServ office (3314 Grant Line Road Suite 2).
3:00 p.m. Jill will visit Tekoppel Elementary School in Evansville (111 N. Tekoppel Ave.) to hold a news conference outlining her education plan.

10:30 a.m. Jill will speak about her education initiative at the Gerald I. Lamkin Union Apprenticeship Center in Lafayette (2953 S. Creasy Ln.).
